What is School Tone?
School tone refers to the overall emotional atmosphere, attitude, and feeling that exists within a school, as experienced by teachers, learners, school leaders, and other members of the school community.
It reflects how people relate to one another, communicate, behave, and feel about being part of the school.
Examples of a positive school tone
A school has a positive tone when:
Teachers feel respected, supported, and valued.

School leaders communicate fairly and respectfully.
