8 Simple Ways to Increase Your Wealth

8 Simple Ways to Increase Your Wealth

Your take home pay will never satisfy you. This is the basic principle in Economics and financial operations. No government on earth will just dashed out money to its workers without and rigid system to plough back the money. Every government wants to have a stable economy and hence does not want anything to increase inflation.
Have you observe how any time your salary increases, anything else including prices of goods and services increases. Don't be deceived that a government can change your financial circumstance. No government is a Father - Christmas. The purpose of governments is to create the enabling environment for you to succeed.
Below are seven proven and tested strategies which can double your wealth and make you financial independent.

1.  Spend less than you earn and Invest the Rest.
Start today by saving your money. Make it a habit to save some money from the little you earn. Save 1% of your salary every month for the next 5 - 10 years. Try increasing the percentage from time to time.Invest the saved amount in a profitable venture.

2.  Procrastinate when buying anything.
About 30% of the things we buy have little or no value in your life. Always procrastinate when buying things. It will reduce the rate at which you buy unnecessary things. This in return increase your wealth.

3.  Always prepare a budget and work within the budget. Individuals who prepare daily and monthly budget and stick to it will increase their wealth significantly. Buy things which are captured in your budget. ignore items not listed in your budget. Avoid unprepared purchase. Train your spouse and other dependent to stay within the budget.

4.   Reduce Bills
Most of the things we use in our homes consume energy. The mobile phones, laptops, Personal Computer, Television, etc. It is rather amazing and shocking to discover that some percentage of our salary goes into paying bills. Do a simple calculation of your bills and you will be shocked how your wealth has been used to pay bills.

5.   Buy your foodstuff in bulk
Buying foodstuff in bulk is cost effective. This can be done monthly at the market and on a market day where things are some how cheap. You can also buy more non perishable foodstuff.

6.   Have A Second Job
Relying on a single job in this day and age is very disastrous. Think about learning another skill or just get involved in sales. Contact friends, and loved ones and try to identify their needs and help them to satisfy them.

7.   Reduce the intake of Drinks and other Beverages
Drinks and other beverages have high demand on our salary. Make sure you are able to reduce your drinking habits by at least 5% a day.

8.   Reduce the rate of unnecessary Mobile Calls
Most of the calls we make are unnecessary and unproductive. I am not saying you shouldn't call friends and other family members but just reduce the calls. Screen your calls. Call only important persons in your life.  Adopt the best call strategy.

5 Things Every Parent Should Be Telling Their Children Now About Coronavirus.

5 Things Every Parent Should Be Telling Their Children Now.....

We are not in normal times. Everything is changing at a faster rate due to this novel Coronavirus which has changed the way we do things.
Schools have been closed down. We cannot go to Church or the Mosques.
Markets are been shut down. We cannot shake hands, hug, touch or miss our friend and love ones.
Hand Sanitizers have been placed everywhere.
Don't you think our children are confused, stressed and frightened? What have you been telling them during this period? How do you ensure that our children are not traumatised due to this deadly virus.
In this piece, the writer outlines 5 Simple Things you should be telling your children.

1. Stay away from the Media.
The media, at least most of them, both the private and the Public, print and electronic are churning out damaging, frightening, and misleading information about this virus. We should at least guide them on the choice of media outlets they should be watching in this time. Your children should not be reading things like this .........

https://www.graphic.com.gh/international/international-news/man-beaten-to-death-over-coronavirus-fears.html

2. Show love to sick people.
Not every cough, sneezing or fever is Coronovirus. Nobody can look at your face and determine whether you have Coronavirus or not. Coronavirus does not kill, it is Fear and Misconception which is killing. One cannot be safe from the virus if one practice simple personal hygiene practices.

3. Turn to the Creator in times like this.
There is nothing under the sun that the Almighty God or Allah cannot cure.  Lean on him and everything shall be well. We have a Creator who can do exceedingly above all things. Just rely him. This is not the time to move away from the creator.

4. Eat Fruits, Vegetables  and Drink a lot of Water.
Every creature has a system in the body which can cure any disease. Diseases do not Cure illness, it is the Immune System which fights diseases. You become sick when your Immune System is weak and cannot fight back diseases that attacks the body.
Eating fruits, vegetables, exercises and drinking a lot of Water helps to strengthen the Immune System.
In times like this, we need to increase our intake of Fruits, Vegetables, do more exercises, and Drink more water.

5. Always use Hand sanitizers, wash hand under running water, and use tissue paper when coughing or sneezing.
We should always use Hand Sanitizers, Tissue Paper, Soap and Water and ensure acceptable social distance, etc.

CORONAVIRUS IS NOT DEADLY, IT IS THE MISCONCEPTION AND FEAR THAT KILLS.

20 Ways to Prepare for Exams

20 Ways to Prepare for Exams - Augustana University.

  1. Routinely review your class notes. Your short-term memory is limited, so you need to distribute your learning over a period of time. Focus on the main points and organize the information into smaller, more manageable parts.
  2. Access free study aids. Check the front of your textbook to see if the publisher provides any online learning resources. Browse Quizlet for other ideas.
  3. Minimize distractions. Turn off the TV, cell phone, computer and other potential interruptions.
  4. Set specific measurable goals for each study session to keep yourself on track. Reward yourself with naturally enjoyable activities, such as playing X-box or browsing Facebook.
  5. Before you begin, mentally warm up. How does the material relate to what you already know or discussed as a class? Prepare your brain to make connections. Link new information to the prior knowledge you have already acquired. Forming these associations will help you retrieve information later and makes the material more meaningful.
  6. Match your learning to the assessment method. For example, if your Human Anatomy test gives you a definition and then asks you to recall the word, do the same when you study. We tend to perform better on a recall task when the way we encoded the words matches the way we need to retrieve them.
  7. Predict possible questions. Review old tests, study guides or the course objectives. Learn more about identifying test questions.
  8. Develop summary sheets for each class. Condense information from your notes and textbook on index cards, post-it notes, or ready reference concept sheets.
  9. Create mnemonic devices. Acrostics, rhymes or acronyms may help you remember information.
  10. Create visual reference points. Write it down several times. Duplicate the pictures from your memory for lab practicals. Highlight your notes with different colors. For example, in your history class you could use a pink highlight to note dates, blue for names, and yellow to signal events.
  11. Draw it. Create tables, diagrams, mind maps or pictures to represent the organizational schema of the information.
  12. Explain it aloud. Go into an empty classroom and pretend to teach the material to someone. Using your own words helps you assess your comprehension, which ultimately aids your memory.
  13. Identify examples or illustrations that embody the concept and demonstrate ways you will utilize the information. This makes it meaningful and relevant, while giving you feedback on your comprehension.
  14. If you think you know your stuff, prove it. Quizzing yourself problems avoids overconfidence and helps you identify gaps in your recall. Answer the questions at the end of the chapter in your textbook. Complete practice problems. Cover up your notes and try to explain them. Create flashcards. If you find yourself struggling to remember, try different techniques to learn the material.
  15. Evaluate, analyze and synthesize the information. What standards or rules can you infer from the information? What can you conclude, hypothesize or recommend? Compare and contrast the information. Critique it. This deepens your learning and helps you own the information.
  16. Take short breaks. Your brain can process a limited amount of information and benefits from some rest.
  17. Stay healthy. Get some sleep and avoid caffeine. Seriously – your brain with thank you.
  18. Don’t go it alone. Form a study group and develop a practice test together. Meet with the professor, a tutor or a learning specialist if needed. Contact the Student Success Center and develop a study strategy with a learning specialist.
  19. Manage your anxiety. By listen to calming music, stretching or breathing deeply, you can avoid stress and release negative thoughts.
  20. Finally, examine your beliefs about learning. It does not happen quickly and intelligence is not fixed. Stay positive and persist, believing that your hard work and techniques will make a difference.
